A composite light cure gun, also known as a dental curing light, is a device used in dentistry to harden (cure) light-sensitive composite resins and bonding agents. It emits a specific wavelength of light, usually in the blue spectrum (around 450–490 nm), which activates photoinitiators in the resin, leading to polymerization and hardening of the material.
